Surrey Interior Architecture & Design

This full renovation and rear extension reimagined the layout of a 20-year-old developer-built house, transforming it into a generous, characterful family home for five children and three dogs. The brief was to introduce warmth, flow and longevity while retaining a sense of classic elegance throughout.

Working closely with Mitchell Evans Architects and Compass Construction, we led the interior architecture and design, reshaping the plan to better support busy family life. A new central staircase now rises through the heart of the house across four floors, creating a strong architectural spine and improving connection between spaces.

The kitchen, designed in collaboration with Smallbone, forms the hub of the home -practical, robust and refined in equal measure. Throughout the house, we carefully integrated the clients’ existing furniture and art collection alongside newly sourced pieces, creating layered interiors that feel personal, lived-in and enduring.
